ontario winter Games Committee, re: Request for a 1991 Grant
to be used for the winter Games to be held jointly by the city
of Barrie and the Town of Collingwood.

The following correspondence and items for discussion were

North Simcoe Environmental Watch, re: Seminar on
Inventory;
County of Simcoe Solid Waste Management Department,
addressed to Reeve Robert Drury concerning examples
requirements imposed by the Ministry of the
Environment/landfill sites.

MOTION NO.1
Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford
It is recommended that section 21 (d) of By-Law No. 89-36, the
Township's Procedural By-Law, be waived for this Special Committee
of the Whole Meeting of Council.
Carried.
MOTION NO.2
Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson
It is recommended that the following Members of Council attend the
Seminar on Environmental Inventory to be held Saturday, February 16
1991:
Councillor Crawford
Councillor Johnson
Deputy Reeve Caldwell
and further, the Township of Oro become a member of the North S
Environmental Watch.

MOTION NO.3
Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford
It is recommended that the correspondence from ontario winter Games
Committee dated January 23, 1991, be received, and further, the
Administrator/Clerk advise the Committee that because of the
severe Economic Conditions, the Township will not be able to
to the 1991 ontario winter Games.
