DISCLOSURE AND DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Councillor Allan Johnson declared a Conflict of Interest with regards to Agenda Items 4 (a), 8 (j), 13 (d); concerning Oro Sand and stones proposed development with regards to a Gravel Pit; the nature of his conflict is that his parents own property adjacent to the effected lands. Mr. Johnson vacated his seat and the Council Chambers, did not discuss or vote on any of the resolutions concerning this topic under the above noted Agenda Items. 2. Crush, load, haul and apply $3.72 per cu. metre 2. Crush and stockpile 16 mm $2.28 per cu. metre 3. Crush and stockpile 50 mm $2.28 per cu. metre 4. Off belt $1. 75 per cu. metre 5. Council further authorizes the Public Services Administrator to purchase materials from the next lowest tender at the tendered amount if the successful tenderer can not provide the product at th rate required, when required. Carried MOTION NO. 27 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Burton Be it resolved that the correspondence from the Ministry of Transportation with regards to the 1991 supplementary Subsidy allocation with regards to the 7th line, be received. carried MOTION NO. 28 Moved by Burton, seconded by Caldwell Be it resolved that the confidential correspondence from R. G. Robinson & Associates Limited re: Township of Oro/Audubon Estates Detention Pond, be received, and further: a) A fence not be erected around the detention pond facilities; b) Trees be planted adjacent to the pond as recommended in the above noted correspondence; and c) The Animal Control/By-Law Enforcement Officer investigate and report to Council on the reported encroachment adjacent to this detention pond. carried MOTION NO. 29 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Johnson Be it resolved that the correspondence from Keland Homes, Simworth R. Farnsworth with regards to Sunday closing, be received, and further, that the Administrator/Clerk be directed to investigate with the appropriate Ministry, how soon the provincial Government intends to initiate ne Sunday closing legislation and further, this information be provide to Council at the earliest possible date. carried ~ - 8 - MOTION NO. 30 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that the confidential correspondence from Rogers Cantel Incorporated with regards to the proposed tower to be erecte in Guthrie as well as the correspondence from the Oro/Barrie/Orilli Airport Commission concerning the above noted tower, be received, and further: a) the municipality receive in writing from Rogers Cantel Incorporated that they will not erect a tower to a greate height than 150 feet above the elevation of the tower site, not above the elevation of the airport; and further b) the Chief Building Official be instructed to issue a building permit to construct this tower specifying that the tower structure and any antennae attached to it canno exceed a total height of 150 feet, above the original natural surface elevation at the base of the tower; and further c) the tower must be lighted with aviation obstacle lighting in accordance with Transport Canada standards. And further, the proposed application indicate that the property would be outside th floodplain. Carried MOTION NO. 36 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Caldwell Be it resolved that Whereas many residents living in the Township 0 Oro willingly devote their time and their talents to volunteer groups in an effort to make their community a better place to live; And Whereas voluntarism in Oro Township is widespread and diverse; ranging from involvement in youth groups such as Brownies and Scout to recreational associations, special event organizations and community based organizations; And Whereas the Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro feels that the contribution of volunteer groups and outstanding individuals should be recognized and appreciated; NOW THEREFORE Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro hereby proclaims 1991 the "Year of the Volunteer" in Oro Township.
