G.V.W. Tandem Snow Plow Truck, equipped as per Township specifications at a price of $120,985.55, be accepted. Carried MOTION NO.2 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Report from Fred Haughton, Public Services Administrator, with regards to the Township of Oro's Water System Maintenance of the following Water Systems: a) b) c) Shanty Bay; Harbourwood; Cedarbrook, be received, and further, adopts the final recommendation contained in this report which is as follows: "No recommendation other than after discussion with Council - direction received regarding any implementation or further reporting." Carried MOTION NO.3 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the correspondence from Fred Haughton to Bet Fellows, be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk, direct the Public Services Administrator to send this correspondence to Mrs. Fellows, as amended. Carried MOTION NO.4 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Report from Fred Haughton, Public Services Administrator, with regards to Flooding of Properties, 14t Line, be received, and further, the recommendations contained in this report be adopted. Carried MOTION NO.5 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that we do now go In-Camera @ 8:20 p.m. Carried MOTION NO.6 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that we do now Rise and Report from In-Camera @ 8:55 p.m. Carried , . - 4 - MOTION NO.7 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the correspondence from the Ukrainian National Youth Federation of Canada with regards to holding a Rock Festival "Hawkstock" from June 28th to July 1st, be received, and further, that the Municipality not agree with this event unless all provisions in By-Law No. 992 shall be met to the sole satisfaction of the Corporation, prior to the event, and further, a letter of personnel requirements and confirmation of O.P.P. costs have been paid in advance and a $200,000. Bond or Letter of Credit be provide to the Township and be approved by the Township Solicitor. Carried MOTION NO.8 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the request from the Ukrainian National Yout Federation of Canada for a Liquor Permit on Saturday, June 29, 1991 from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m. and on Sunday, June 30, 1991, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m., be received, and further, that a permit be deferred until all sections of By-Law No. 992 are met. carried MOTION NO.9 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the memo from Kris Menzies, re: fee structur for conversions and rezonings, be received. Anderson, with regards to the Township's Policy on unassumed roads, be referred to the Township Planner, Kris Menzies, for a response, wit a copy to be forwarded to Council. Carried MOTION NO. 11 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that a Public Meeting be held to consider Development Application No. P-19/89 (Zerny). Carried MOTION NO. 12 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Confidential Correspondence from Leo F. Longo with the firm of Aird and Berlis (Township Solicitor), with regards to the Zoning Application from Zerny, be received, and further, that Mr. Zerny be asked to a Technical Advisory Committee Meeting to review drainage and entrances, etc., subject to these properties. carried - 5 - MOTION NO. 13 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Confidential Report from Kris Menzies, Township Planner with regards to the Zoning Application from Zerny, be received. carried MOTION NO. 14 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the Chief Administrative Officer be requeste to write the Orillia O.P.P., requesting that six off-duty officers be required from 11:00 p.m. each day of the event (Rock Festival "Hawkstock") till 4:00 a.m., June 28, 29, 30th or such additional off-duty officers the O.P.P. deem necessary and the number to atten this event be limited to 600, and further, a minimum of two O.P.P. officers be present during all other times. Carried MOTION NO. 21 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the correspondence from Doug Flear of the Or 77's with regards to their request to run a Beer Garden at the Barrie Speedway on the following dates: July 13, 20, 27 be received, and further, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro has no objection to the Oro 77's operating a Beer Garden at this event, on the above noted dates on a trial basis. Bowden, re: their request to purchase Township owned property adjacent to property owned by the Bowdens, described as th West Part of Lot 27, Concession 9, be received, and further, the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro direct the Administrator/Clerk to advise Mr. and Mrs. Bowden that they are not interested in selling this property at this time. Carried MOTION NO. 25 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Report of Live stock Valuer Bruce Anderson, for Live stock killed, owned by David Anderson, at an estimated value of $80.00, be received, and further, the Treasurer be authorized to issue a cheque to Mr. Anderson in the amount of $80.00; for one lamb killed. carried MOTION NO. 26 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Quotation received from stead's painting Maintenance and Cleaning service, be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk is authorized to hire this firm to do a one tim initial clean-up of the building, not to exceed four hundred and sixty dollars, ($460.00) including the interior and exterior window cleaning. Carried MOTION NO. 28 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton It is recommended that the Report of Live stock Valuer Bruce Anderson, for Live stock killed, owned by David Anderson, at an estimated value of $160.00, be received, and further, the Treasurer be authorized to issue a cheque to Mr. Anderson in the amount of $160.00; for two lambs killed. Carried MOTION NO. 29 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that correspondence from the Simcoe County Coalition, with regards to Larry Grossman's request to the County, be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk not be authorized to write Mr. Duncan Green, Project Co-ordinator, Simcoe County stud Committee, outlining the municipality's concerns with regards to th inadequacies and errors in the financial segments of the Draft Report of the Study Committee. carried . . , " . , - 8 - MOTION NO. 30 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Report from Paul Eenhoorn, Fire Chief, concerning the Ministry of the Environment's Burning Correspondence be received. carried MOTION NO. 31 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Johnson It is recommended that the correspondence from Keith Sanderson, Secretary of Trustees of Guthrie United Church, with regards to the closing of the entrance to the Highway from the Guthrie united Church adjacent to the Oro Township Arena, be received, and further the Administrator/Clerk is to advise Mr. Sanderson that this projec will not be completed this year due to a severe shortage of funds, but will be scheduled for serious consideration in 1992, and further, we do not have the approvals from M.T.O. Carried MOTION NO. 32 Moved by Johnson, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the correspondence from Blake Mulcaster, Secretary Shuffleboard Committee (Big Cedar) with regards to their request for a financial contribution, be received, and further, the Administrator/Clerk is hereby directed to advise Mr. Mulcaster of the following: the Township needs to know the amount of this project and how much assistance you are seeking from the Township, as our 1991 budget ha been approved.
