JULY 17. 1991. . 1:30 P.M. - COHKITTBB ROOK ONB 1IUNDR.BD AND SIrn-SIXTH KBBTING 1988-1991 council met this afternoon pursuant to adjournment @ 1:30 p.m. with the following members present: Reeve Robert E. Drury Councillor David Burton Councillor Alastair Crawford Councillor Allan Johnson Absent: Deputy Reeve David Caldwell Also Present Were: Mr. Fred Haughton, Ms. Kris Menzies, Mr. Leo Longo and Ms. Kelly Yerxa. Reeve Robert E. Drury chaired the meeting. 1. DISCLOSURE AND DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST: None Declared. 2. CONSENT AGENDA: None. 3. DEPUTATIONS: a) 1:35 p.m. Mr. Leo Longo and Ms. Kelly Yerxa of Aird and Berlis, Township Solicitors, were present to discuss various Township Legal Matters. (This portion of the Meeting was held in Committee of the Whole.) 4. REPORTS OF MUNICIPAL OFFICERS: a) Kris Menzies, Township Planner, Confidential Report re: statu on 7th Line pit Applications. 5. COMMUNICATIONS: None. MOTION NO. 1 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that Section 6 of By-Law No. 89-36, The Township's Procedural By-Law, be waived and that this Special Meeting of Council be called without forty-eight hours notice to the members. I - 2 - MOTION NO. 2 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Burton Be it resolved that we do now go into Committee of the Whole @ 1:30 p.m. with Kelly Yerxa, Leo Longo, Kris Menzies and Fred Haughton present. MOTION NO. 3 Moved by Burton, seconded by Johnson carried Be it resolved that we do now Rise and Report from Committee of the Whole @ 4:25 p.m. MOTION NO. 4 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Johnson carried Be it resolved that we suspend section 7 of By-Law No. 89-36 to allow the meeting to proceed past the 4:00 p.m. adjournment hour. Carried MOTION NO. 5 Moved by Burton, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that the Report from Kris Menzies, Township Planner, with regards to status on 7th Line pit Applications, be received. Carried MOTION NO. 6 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Johnson Be it resolved that a By-Law to Temporarily Close George street in Harbourwood Subdivision be introduced and read a first and second time and numbered By-Law No. 91-53. Carried THAT By-Law No. 91-53 be read a third time and finally passed, be engrossed by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the Reeve.
