Be it resolved that the correspondence from the County of Essex,
requesting endorsement of resolution regarding the 9-1-1- Telephon
Emergency System and the concept of subscriber billing through Bel
Canada, be received and the Township of Oro support the said
resolution, and further, a copy of the resolution be forwarded to
the CRTC and Allan K. McLean, M.P.P.

Be it resolved that the correspondence from the County of Elgin,
requesting endorsement of resolution concerning potential effect of
provincial planning initiatives may have on local planning issues,
be received and Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro
support the said resolution, and further direct that a copy of same
be forwarded to the Premier of ontario and the various Ministries
and Agencies referred to in their correspondence.

Be it resolved that the correspondence from Allan Quinlan, Lot 4,
Concession 1, expressing concerns of water runoff from City of
Barrie, be received and acknowledged, and further, that a copy of
this correspondence be sent to Mayor Janice Laking, City of Barrie.

Be it resolved that the correspondence from John Abernethy Simpson,
regarding Township's policy for clearing of roadways of trees and
brush, be received and acknowledged, and further, the Public
Services Administrator, be directed to correspond with Mr. Simpson,
providing him with the history and rationale in which such a policy
has been initiated within the Township of Oro.

Be it resolved that the correspondence from George Powell, Director
Huronia Harley Owners Group, and request for support to host a RaIl
in June 1993 at the Oro Community Centre, be received and Council
support the event in principle, provided that no camping facilities
will be offered on the site, and further direct the Parks and
Recreation Supervisor to advise of Council's position.

Be it resolved that council direct the relocation of Garbage
Dumpster from Oro Park to the 7th Line and Lake Simcoe to facilitat
with the extra garbage debris resulting from ice fishing and smelt
fishing activities, and further, that these arrangements be under
the direction of the Parks and Recreation supervisor and in co-
operation with Mid-Ontario Disposal.
