DEPUTATIONS: a) 10:50 a.m. Mr. Al Windrem of G. M. Sernas and Associates Limited, Mr. Rosario Sacco of Urban Ecosystems Limited and Mr. Al Lees 0 R.G. Robinson and Associates Limited were present to discuss the potential construction of a cul-de-sac on Ironwood Trail in Sugarbush Subdivision, Phase IV and Improvements to the entrance to the development at the intersection of the 6th Line and County Road 22. Mr. Windrem and Mr. Sacco on behalf of their client have requested an extension to the Subdivision Agreement. 3. Carried MOTION NO.6 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crokam It is recommended that the correspondence from the Ministry of Transportation with regard to a proposed sale of property, specifically, Part Lot 20, Concession 6, be received and as the Township of Oro may be interested in purchasing this property, kindly send us a copy of the appraisal for our consideration. Carried MOTION NO.7 Moved by Crokam, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Draft Letter to Mayor Janice Laking and Members of Council with regard to Simcoe County Restructuring - Joint Planning, be received and adopted, and further, this correspondence be forwarded to Mayor Janice Laking and Members of Council under the signature of Reeve Drury. Carried - 4 - MOTION NO.8 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that Henry Sander, Acting Administrator and Ron Kolbe, Animal Control Officer be authorized to hire a student to solicit door-to-door for the sale of dog licences during the summer months. Carrie MOTION NO.9 Moved by Crokam, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Oro Lea Beach Association be advised of the Policy regarding development of parkland, and further, that the Association be invited to resubmit their request when the terms of this policy are achieved. carried MOTION NO. 10 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Mortson It is recommended that the correspondence from Marjorie B. Murison with regard to water meters and water billing, be received and referred to the Public Services Administrator to respond to Mrs. Murison. carried MOTION NO. 11 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crokam It is recommended that the Draft Engineering Standards presented by Fred Haughton, be adopted by the Township of Oro as the municipality's "Engineering Standards and Drawings" and copies be made available to the public on request, at a $50.00, with the provision for receiving updates and/or when necessary. further tha cost of addendums Carried MOTION NO. 12 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crokam It is recommended that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, with regard to a Potential Infraction of a Commercial Establishment, be received and referred to the Township Fire Chief, Paul Eenhoorn, an the Township By-Law Enforcement Officer, Ron Kolbe, for a Report back to Council. Carried MOTION NO. 13 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crawford It is recommended that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, with regard to comments on circulation of Notices to the Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority, be received and notices for lands West of the 6th line only, be circulated for comment. Carried , ' - 5 - MOTION NO. 14 Moved by Crokam, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, with regard to comments on the Township of Orillia Draft Official Plan, be received and that with the exception of minor concerns, Oro Township has no concerns. carried MOTION NO. 15 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Mortson It is recommended that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, regarding a Proposed Rezoning, specifically on Part Lot 20, Concession 1, (Van Veld) be received and adopted. Carried MOTION NO. 16 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crokam It is recommended that R.G. Robinson and Associates Limited, be authorized to contact the Simcoe County Engineering Department to discuss the potential improvements to be made to the Horseshoe Valley Road and the 6th Line intersection. carried MOTION NO. 17 Moved by Crokam, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that R.G. Robinson and Associates Limited, be authorized to negotiate with the proponents and consultants with regard to the proposed cul-de-sac in Sugarbush, Phase IV. Carried MOTION NO. 18 Moved by Crokam, seconded by Caldwell It is recommended that the Memo from Kris Menzies, Planner, regarding Terraprobe constraint mapping, be received and authorization be given to the Treasurer to issue a cheque in the amount of $950.00 plus G.S.T. Carried MOTION NO. 19 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crokam It is recommended that the correspondence received from the Ministr of Natural Resources to the Jarratt-Coulson and District Community Group regarding the Buffalo Ranch Cross Country Skiing, be received and filed.
