COUNCILLOR ALASTAIR CRAWFORD:
Royal victoria Hospital Board:
- surplus in 1992 budget;
- new x-ray machine to be purchased, funded by Foundation and
Royal victoria Hospital Auxilary;
- propose 0% budget increase in 1993;
- attended first meeting of French Language Services Committee;
- hospital not designated in accordance with Bill 8;
- new hospital plans to be tendered late spring/early summer.
- observed a Committee of Adjustment meeting in Medonte.
- attended meeting in City of Orillia regarding intersection at
Harvie Settlement/Fittons Road/Highway No. 12

COUNCILLOR JOANNE CROKAM:
orillia and District Chamber of Commerce:
- investigating two proposals for Long Distance Savings Programs
- 30-50% savings for Chamber Members and residual payments to th
Chamber based on calls sold;
- Secretary to the Environmental committee;
- wetlands and waterways to be main focus;
- have finalized Waterfowl Festival Committee budget;
- expect 8,000-10,000 people to attend.
Shanty Bay Community Centre:
- on executive as Secretary;
Keith Sanderson - Chairman;
Gail O'Brien - Treasurer;
Sub-Committee on Loan Repayment to Township to meet again;
- Annual Fun Day to be held in August;
- hope to host a dance as well;
- all activities including ball games and craft tables to be hel
at the school facilities.
DEPUTY REEVE DAVID CALDWELL:
Oro/Barrie/Orillia Airport Commission:
- capital contribution by City of Orillia still under dispute;
- a $10,000 surplus in 1991 was carried forward into 1992 to
reduce 1992 projects;
- potential for new lease from Company to provide aircraft
maintenance;
- Air Canada Employees picnic - June 26/27;
- Official opening - May 14 @ 11:00 a.m.
County of Simcoe Waste Management Committee:
- O.M.B. decision received on Wasaga Beach Landfill site;
- credit to Wasaga Beach based on value of site (10-14 year life
expectancy) ;
- rental of buildings on site to be resolved;
- legal interpretation of decision has not been received to date
- no ruling yet on Bradford/West Gwillimbury site;
County Planninq Committee:
- draft strategic plan to go to public late May/early June;
- no movement on Official Plan until strategic Plan in place.

Associates, regarding Horseshoe Highlands, Phase IVA and status of
Letter of Credit, be received and Township Solicitor, David White,
confirm with Zurich Insurance Company the position of the Township
of Oro in that the existing securities shall be retained.

Orillia, and request for permission to install awareness signs of
the Meals on Wheels Program, be received and referred to the Publi
Services Administrator for a Report back to Council.

It is recommended that the correspondence from R.G. Robinson and
Associates Limited, regarding Lakewood Subdivision and provisional
clause within the Subdivision Agreement with respect to Lots 15-19,
be received and as the final grading has been completed in
accordance with the drainage and lot grading plan that the
respective lots be eligible for Building Permits, subject to any
other conditions outlined in the Subdivision Agreement.

It is recommended that the correspondence from Aird and Berlis,
regarding the dissolution of the Hawkestone Police Village and
Ontario Municipal Board Order, be received and Clerk, Darlene
Shoebridge ensure that the said order be registered on title,
respecting the Hawkestone Hall and Hawkestone Park, and further,
that an appropriate By-Law be prepared, appointing members of the
Hawkestone and area community to the Hawkestone Hall Committee.
