Drury Deputy Reeve David Caldwell Councillor Alastair Crawford Councillor Leonard Mortson Absent: Councillor Joanne Crokam Also Present Were: Ms. Kris Menzies, Mr. Ron Watkin, Mr. Leo Longo. McLean, M.P.P. re: Waste Management; g) Gabriel Fontaine, re: Deficit Clause in Constitution; MOTION NO. 2 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Mortson Be it resolved that we do now go into committee of the Whole @ 1:20 p.m. MOTION NO. 3 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that we do now Rise and Report from Committee of the Whole @ 4:21 p.m. MOTION NO. 4 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that Council suspend Rule 7 of the Procedural to allow the meeting to proceed past the adjournment hour of 4:00 p.m. , - 3 - MOTION NO. 5 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Mortson Be it resolved that the Memo from Kris Menzies, Planner, re: Meeting with Nottawasaga Valley Conservation Authority - Little Lak Watershed study to be held January 9th, 1992, be received and the Planner be directed to attend, along with Al Lees, Township Engineer, R.G. Robinson and Associates. carried MOTION NO. 6 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, re: Natural Area Official Plan Amendment, be received and the Township Planner be directed to discuss the amendment with Councillor's Mortson and Crokam for their review and input, prior to subsequent adoption by Council. Carried MOTION NO. 7 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Mortson Be it resolved that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, re: Jac Backus Conversion Application P-10D/91, be received and the Planner be directed to correspond with the applicant to advise that a deeming By-Law will be presented to Council to merge lots 31 & 32, Plan 979, prior to the rezoning process commencing. carried MOTION NO. 8 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that the correspondence from the Township of Orillia re: restructuring, be received and copies made available to Member of council, and Solicitor, Leo Longo, for their information and review. Carried MOTION NO. 9 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Mortson Be it resolved that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, re: Louis Kovacs, Concession 2, Lot 11, site Inspection, be received fo information, and Council have no concerns with the proposed use for washroom facilities, only provided the Simcoe County District Healt Unit has no objection and that the applicant acknowledge in writing he will remove the building from the site when the residential subdivision plan is approved. carried MOTION NO. 10 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that the Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, re: Official Plan Amendment No. 37, site 5, (Industrial) be received fo information only. Carried - 4 - MOTION NO. 11 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Caldwell Be it resolved that the following correspondence/items for discussion be referred to a future Committee of the Whole Meeting: 5. (b) Oro purchase from Cryer (Oro Industrial Park); (g) Gabriel Fontaine, deficit clause in constitution; MOTION NO. 12 Moved by Caldwell, seconded by Crawford Be it resolved that the Confidential Report from Kris Menzies, Planner, re: Hardwood Hills, trailers on site, be received and Clerk and the Township Planner be directed to discuss the matter with David S. White, Township Solicitor, and Staff report back to Council. MOTION NO. 13 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Caldwell Be it resolved that the correspondence from Graham, Wilson and re: Strachan Committee of Adjustment matter, be received and the applicants be invited to attend a future Committee of the Whole Meeting to discuss the potential of a severance application.
