Also Present Were: Reeve Drury chaired the meeting and called the meeting to order @ 11:20 a.m. 2. a) b) c) 1. DISCLOSURE AND DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST: Reeve Drury, Deputy Reeve Caldwell and Councillor Crawford declared a Conflict of Interest with the discussion on a proposed settlement with B.A.F.M.A. and did not participate in the discussion. DEPUTATIONS: 11:20 a.m. Mr. steve Wilkinson, addressed Council wit respect to Cedarbrook Drainage; Report No. 92-14 brought forward for Council, at which time Mr. Wilkinson did address his concerns in respect to Cedarbrook drainage and the particular concerns with the safety factors involved with this drainage. Mr. Fred Haughton, wa available to explain to Mr. Wilkinson what the municipality expects to accomplish in this area to remedy the drainage problems and the Township to supply some topsoil to the residents of Cedarbrook to finish off the ditch area. 11:50 a.m. Mr. Leo Longo, Township Solicitor, was present to discuss Embrace Kennels and potential litigation by complainant. (Thi portion of the meeting held In-Camera.) 12:00 p.m. Mr. Leo Longo, Township Solicitor, was present to discuss B.A.F.M.A. litigation matter. (This portion of the meeting held In-Camera. ) II , d) e) f) NAME - 2 - 1:00 p.m. Ms. Deborah Broderick, Parks and Recreatio supervisor and Mr. Leo Longo were present to discuss a personnel matter. (This portion of the meeting was held In-Camera. 1:30 p.m. Mr. Martin Sernas, Mr. Allan Windrem and Mr. Ron Watkin, were present to address Council with regards to Sugarbush Development, Phase 4, at which time Mr. Sernas requested a postponement on development of Phase 4 to 1994. Baldock, requesting permission to erect removable boat lift and pipe dock from Lot 45, Plan 626, (Promenade) be received, and that the property in question is public property and subject to use by the general public, therefore the request be denied. Carried II - 5 - MOTION NO.8 Moved by Mortson, seconded by Crokam It is recommended that the Memo from the County of Simcoe regarding Meeting Date, County Transition Committee, be received and the meeting originally scheduled between Officials of Oro and Medonte b rescheduled to sometime in August and preferably after the Draft Legislation has been received. Carried MOTION NO.9 Moved by Crawford, seconded by Mortson It is recommended that the Memo from Darlene Shoebridge, Clerk, regarding Amendment to By-Law No. 91-18, Garbage By-Law, be received, and the Clerk be directed to prepare an amendment to the said By-Law in order that the fine may be increased from $2,000.00 to $5,000.00 per violation. carried MOTION NO. 10 Moved by Crokam, seconded by Mortson It is recommended that the Report from Fred Haughton, Public Services Administrator, regarding Garbage Dumpsters and Containers, be received, and new containers be purchased as recommended within the report.
