Reeve Robert Drury chaired the meeting and called the meeting to
order @ 9:00 a.m.

DISCLOSURE AND DECLARATION OF CONFLICT OF INTEREST:
Reeve Robert Drury, Deputy Reeve David Caldwell and Councillor
Alastair Crawford declared a conflict with Item 2(a) (2) of the
Agenda, that being the litigation matter with B.A.F.M.A. The
three members left the room when the motion was presented with
Councillor Mortson assuming the chair.

Kris Menzies and Ron Watkin;

11:25 a.m.
Mr. Ron Robinson, Township Engineer and Mr
Henry Glavik were present to address
Council with regards to the Report on
Stormwater Management study for the
Georgian Drive Secondary Plan Area (City 0
Barrie);
All options were reviewed, specifically 2
and 2A and 6, which propose to maintain
flows into the Township of Oro by
constructing appropriate drainage
infrastructure. The Township Engineers
proposed an alternative option by combinin
Options 2 & 4. The Clerk was directed to
arrange a meeting with representatives of
the City of Barrie in this regard.
Council recessed @ 9:35 a.m. and reconvened the meeting @
10:30 a.m. as well as recessing for lunch from 12:25 p.m.
to 1:15 p.m.

dated September 23, 1992, be adopted as printed and circulated.

It is recommended that the Confidential Report from Aird and Berlis
regarding Official Plan Amendment No. 37, ontario Municipal Board
Hearing respecting requests for adjournment, be received and
adopted, and further, that site E located on Part Lot A, Concession
1, be re-examined for justification and staff be directed to furthe
pursue with the Ministry of Agriculture and Food the validity of
site 4.

It is recommended that the Invitation from the Township of Vespra t
participate in the Annual Midhurst World-Class Autumnfest Lot-sawin
Contest on September 26th, 1992, at 1:00 o'clock p.m. be received
and the following members of Council will participate:

It is recommended that the Memo from Lynda Aiken, Deputy Clerk,
regarding approval to sell Raffle Tickets to the Simcoe Area Womens
Institute, be received and approved.

It is recommended that the Memo from Lynda Aiken, Deputy Clerk,
regarding Application for Nevada Lottery Licence from the Oro Minor
Softball League, be received and approved, with the exemptions as
requested being granted.
