1988-025 Medonte By-law Providing for the Erection of Stop Signs at Intersections ~ ~ f t THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE BY-LAW NUMBER 88-25 BEING a By-Law providing for the erection of Stop Signs at intersections WHEREAS Section 117 of the Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 198) provides that Council of a Municipality may by By-Law provide for the erection of Stop Signs at intersections on Highways under its jurisdiction and that every slgn so erected shall comply with the regulations of the Ministry of Transportation NOW, THEREFORE, Council of the Township of Medonte enacts as follows: 1) That the intersections of highways set out in Colurrm 1 are designated as intersections where Stop Signs shall be erected at the location shown in Column 2 COLUMN 1 Anne Street Agnes Street COLUMN 2 Agnes Street Anne Street 2) The penalties provided in Section 188 of the Highway Traffic Act shall apply to offences against this By-Law 3) Each designation made by Section 1 of this By-Law shall not become effective until Stop Signs have been erected in accordance with the regulations of the Highway Traffic Act. READ a first and second time, read a third time and passed this 27th day of September, 1988.
