1990-012 Medonte THE CDRPORATION OF THE 'IDWNSHIP OF MEJX)NTE BY-LAW NUMBER 1990-12 PROVIDING FOR THE ERECTION OF S'IOP SIGNS AT INTERSECTIONS ~ section 117 of the Highway Traffic Act (R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 198) provides that the council of a municipality and the trustees of a police village may by by-law, provide for the erection of stop signs at intersections on highways under ~ its jurisdiction, and every sign so erected shall comply with the regulations of the Ministry. NJW 'I'HEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Medonte enacts as ~ follows: 1. The intersections of highways set out in Column 1 are designated as intersectioI1S where stop signs shall be erected at the location shown in Column 2 Column 1 Column 2 Eastbound on Mt. St. Louis Road 9th Concession Westbound on Mill Pond Sideroad 6th Concession Southbound on Old Coldwater Road running parallel with Highway 12 Sideroad #3 2. The penalties provided in section 188 of the Highway Traffic Act shall apply to offences against this by-law. 3. Each designation made by section 1 shall not become effective until stop signs have been erected in accordance with the Regulations of the Highway Traffic ~ Act.
