1989-002 Medonte By-law authorizing Council to regulate the distribution and use of water in all places and fix the prices
THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
BY-LAW NUMBER 89-02

WHEREAS Section 8 of the Public Utilities Act, Chapter 423, R.S.O. 1980
authorizes Council to regulate the distribution and use of water in all places
where and for all purposes for which it may be required and fix the prices
for the use thereof and the times of payment

THEREFORE, Council of the Township of Medonte enacts as follows:
1) That the following rate shall be imposed against the ratepayers in
Medonte Hills Water Area for the supply of water.
Basic rate for the year shall be $ 72.00 per year.
2) That the Corporation of the Township shall bill the Medonte Hills
once on May 1, with payment due on May 31.
3) After the due date, all accounts which remain unpaid shall be
transferred to the tax roll.
If) Any By-Laws which are inconsistent with this By-Law are hereby
repealed.
5) That this By-Law shall take effect as of January 1, 1989.
