THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE BY-LAW NUMBER 89-12 BEING a By-Law to dedicate and assume certain lands as Public Highway within the Township of Medonte, being a portion of the One Foot Reserve on Registered Plan M- 112. WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S. O. 1980, Chapter 302, Section 298, permits the Council of every municipality to pass By-Laws for establishing and laying out highways; AND WHEREAS by a Deed registered the 16th Day of November, 1977, as instrument no. 13905, the Corporation of the Township became owner of a certain parcel of land as hereinafter described Block "A" as shown on Plan Number M-112 for the County of Simcoe, being a one foot reserve on the North Side of the Township Road Allowance, between lots 10 & 11 in Concession 4" AND WHEREAS it is deemed expedient to dedicate and assume that portion of the said parcel which abutts lot 18, Plan M-112, for use as a public highway to allow the owners of lot 18, PlanM-112 access to the Township Road Allowance; NOW THEREFORE, be it enacted as a By-Law of the Corporation of the Township of Medonte as follows: 1) That the portion of Block "B", Plan M-112, having a total length of 332.19 feet, which runs parallel to the southern boundary of lot 18, Plan M-112, is hereby dedicated and assumed for use as a Public Highway. READ a first and second time, read a third time and passed this 13th day of June, 1989.
