BY-LAW NUMBER 1991-01
BErN; A BY-LAW to provide for the payment of dog tax within the Township of
Medonte.
WHERE'AS Council is given the authority to licence dogs under the Dog
Licencing and Livestock and Poultry Protection Act, R.S.O. 1980
l'Of 'l'HEREFURE Council of the Township of Medonte hereby enacts

1. That the annual tax for dogs within the Township shall be
- Castrated male dog, if only one kept - $11.00
- Spayed female dog, if only one is kept - $11. 00
- Male dog if only one is kept
- $16.00
- $16.00

- Female dog if only one is kept
2. That the annual tax shall double the amounts listed in part one for each
additional dog kept.
3. That tags shall be issued yearly fram the Township Office and a record
of tag number and the name and address of the owner shall be maintained.
4. The Township shall invoice all owners of dogs according to the above fee
schedule and shall add a ten per cent penalty on all accounts not paid
within thirty days.
5. That By-Law 88-3 is hereby repealed.
READ a first and second time, and read a third time and passed this 14th Day of
January 1991.
