THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
BY-LAW NO. 1991-07
A By-law to amend
Zoning By-law No. 82-25, as amended
and
Zoning By-law 1990-22, as amended

WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Medonte enacted Zoning By-law No. 82-25, as amended;
e
AND WHEREAS on July 24, 1990, the Council of the Corporation
of the Township of Medonte enacted Zoning By-law 1990-22 to
provide for updated, comprehensive zoning for the entire
Township of Medonte and that By-law is not yet in effect at
the date of passage of this By-law;
AND WHEREAS the Planning Act, 1983, Section 34, gives the
authority for the council of a local municipality to pass
by-laws to amend the zoning by-law;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township
of Medonte enacts as follows:
1. That Schedule A, Map 2, forming part of Zoning By-law
1990-22, as amended, is hereby further amended by
rezoning the lands in part of Lot 75, Concession 1,
from the Rural Exception (RU-1) Zone to the Rural
Residential (R3) Zone, the Low Environmental
Sensitivity (ES2) Zone and the Rural Exception (RU-11)
Zone as shown on Schedule A attached, and that Schedule
A attached forms part of this By-law.
2.
That Schedule "A", Map "6", forming part of Zoning By-
law No. 82-25, as amended, is hereby further amended by
rezoning the lands in part of Lot 75, Concession 1,
from the Rural (RU) Zone to the Rural Exception (RU-10)
Zone and the Low Environmental Sensitivity (ES2) Zone
as shown on Schedule B attached, and that Schedule B
attached forms part of this By-law.

3.
That a new subsection RU-11 is hereby added to
Subsection 2.19.7 "RU Zone Exceptions" of Zoning By-law
1990-22 following RU-10:

"RU-11 (Lot 75, Concession 1)
Notwithstanding the regulations of Subsection
2.19.3, the lands in Lot 75, Concession 1, shown
as RU-11 on Schedule A, Map 2, shall have a
minimum lot area of 7.5 hectares. Notwithstanding
the permitted uses of Subsection 2.19.2, no new
intensive agricultural use shall be permitted. In
all other respects, the provisions of the Rural
(RU) Zone shall apply."

4. That a new Subsection 2.21.25, "RU-10" is hereby added
to Subsection 2.21 "Zone Exceptions" of Zoning By-law
No. 82-25, as amended, following Subsection 2.21.24:
"2.21.25 RU-10
The lands in Lot 75, Concession 1, shown as RU-10 on
Schedule "A", Map "6", shall have a minimum lot area
for residential purposes of 4045 square metres
exclusive of any lands zoned Low Environmental
Sensitivity (ES2), a minimum lot frontage of 50 metres,
minimum front and rear yard requirements of 12 metres,
a minimum interior side yard of 4.5 metres, and a
minimum gross floor area of 110 square metres."

That, upon this By-law coming into force, Zoning By-law
No. 82-25 ceases to apply to the above-noted lands.
6. That this By-law shall take effect and shall come into
force pursuant to the provisions of and Regulations
made under the Planning Act.

Read a third time and finally passed this 11th day of
February , 1991.
