1991-028 Medonte _ e _ e THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEOONTE BY-LAW NO. 1991 - 28 A BY-LAW TO AUTHORIZE THE SALE OF part of the untravelled portion of the original road allownace between Lots 5 and 6, Concession 12 in the Township of Medonte, County of Simcoe, more particularly described in Schedule "A" attached hereto. WHEREAS pursuant to Sections 298 (1) and 316 of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302, Council passed By-law 1991-25 on the 26th day of August, 1991, to stop up, close and sell that part of the untravelled portion of the original road allowance between Lots 5 and 6, Concession 12 in the Township of Medonte, County of Simcoe, more particularly described in Schedule "A" attached hereto. AND WHEREAS certain of the abutting owners declined to exercise their right to purchase any portion of the lands described in Schedule "A", or failed to exercise their right to purchase any portion of the lands described in Schedule "A" within the 30 day period following the date of passage of By-law 1991-25, as required under the provisions of the said By-law; AND WHEREAS pursuant to Section 316 (3) of the said Municipal Act, the Municipali ty may proceed to sell the lands described in Schedule "A" to any other person at the price set out under By-law 1991-25, or at a greater price, in the event that the abutting owners entitled to purchase the said lands fail to exercise their right to purchase within the period fixed by By-law; NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE HERBY ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. Authorization of Sale - This Council does hereby authorize the sale of the said lands described in Schedule "A" attached hereto to the abutting owners thereof, as follows: Owner Lands to be Conveyed a) John McPherson Breckon and Muriel Dorothy Breckon, as joint tenants Part 1, Plan 51R-20815 b) Parts 2, 3 and 4, Plan 51R-20815. patricia Troyon 2. Sale Price - In accordance with Section 316 of the said Municipal Act, this Council hereby sets the sale price for the said lands as follows: Lands to be Conveyed Price a) Part 1, Plan 51R-20815 $1,917.39 $1,082.61 b) Parts 2, 3 and 4, Plan 51R-20815 3. Execution of Documents - The Reeve and Clerk are herby authorized to sign all documents to carry out the intent of this By-law.
