THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF MEDONTE
BY-LAW NO. 1992-
A By-law to amend
Zoning By-law No. 1990-22
WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Medonte enacted Zoning By-law No. 1990-22, as amended;
AND WHEREAS the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, Ch. P.13, Section
34, gives the authority for the council of a local municipality
to pass by-laws to amend the zoning by-law;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Medonte enacts as follows:
1.
That Schedule A, Map 2, forming part of Zoning By-law No.
1990-22, as amended, is hereby further amended by rezoning
the lands in part of Lot 55, Concession 1, shown on
Schedule A attached, from the General Commercial (Cl) Zone
to the General Commercial Exception (Cl-4) Zone, and that
Schedule A attached forms part of this By-law.
2. That a new subsection Cl-4 is hereby added to Subsection
2.6.4 "Cl Zone Exceptions" of Zoning By-law No. 1990-22
following Cl-3:
"Cl-4 (Lot 55, Concession 1)
Notwithstanding any other provision of this By-law,
the lands in Lot 55, Concession 1, shown as Cl-4 on
Schedule A, Map 2, shall be restricted to the
following,uses: a clinic used by only one (1) medical
or dental practitioner at a time, a retail store, and
a maximum of two (2) dwelling units. The lands shall
have a minimum lot frontage of 20 metres, a minimum
lot area of 1010 square metres, a minimum front yard
of 1.4 metres, minimum interior side yards of 0 and 7
metres, and a maximum commercial gross floor area of
210 square metres. A minimum of twelve (12) parking
spaces and no loading space shall be required. The
required parking spaces may be located abutting a
street line and within the required planting strip
abutting a Residential Zone. In all other respects,
the provisions of the General Commercial (Cl) Zone
shall apply.
3.
That this By-law shall take effect and shall come into
force pursuant to the provisions of and Regulations made
under the Planning Act.
