EXPLANATORY NOTE
This By-law No. 84-13 for the Township of Medonte amends
Zoning By-law No. 82-25, as amended, which permits and regulates
the use of all lands, buildings, and structures within Medonte
Township.
The owners of the lot shown as R5-1 on Schedule "A"
attached to this By-law, have requested the Council to re-
zone their property on the south side of Orr Lake, fronting
on County Rd. No. 19 from Shoreline Seasonal (R4) to Shoreline
Permanent R5-1. They have complied with the requirements of
By-law 82-25 concerning conversion from seasonal to permanent
occupancy for the two dwellings which will remain permanently
on the lot, as well as meeting the requirements of the Ministry
of the Environment and the Simcoe County District Health Unit
for their water supply and sewage disposal systems.
This By-law No. 84-13 will therefore permit this lot
to be zoned for permanent occupancy by two single family
detached dwellings under the same joint ownership.

BY-LAW NUMBER 84-13
A By-Law of the Corproation of the Township of Medonte to amend Zoning
By-Law No. 82-25, as amended, passed under Section 34 of the Planning
Act, 1983, to regulate the use of land and the erection and use of
buildings and structures in part ;)f Lots 64 and 65, Concession 1, Township
,
of Medonte.
WHEREAS application has been made to the Council of the Corporation of
the Township of Medonte to allow the permanent use of two dwellings on
a single lot which was zoned for seasonal use under Zoning By-Law No.
82-25;

AND WHEREAS Council now deems it expedient to amend the zonmg of
the subject property;
NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of
Medonte enacts as follows:
1. Schedule "A" Map "7" to By-Law 82-25, as amended, is hereby amended
by changing the portion of lots 64 and 65, Concession 1 shown on the
attached Schedule "A" to this By-Law in heavy outline from Shoreline
Seasonal (R4) Zone to Shoreline Permanent Zone Exception (R5-1).
2. Subsection 2.21 of By-Law No. 82-25, as amended, IS hereby amended
by the following:

Notwithstanding the provlSlons of Subsection 3.23 of this
By-Law, the lands in lots 64 and 65, Concession 1, shown
as R5-1 on Schedule "A" to this By-Law, may be used for
not more than two single family detached dwellings.

Schedule "A" attached hereto forms part of this By-Law.
4.
This By-Law shall come into force and take effect pursuant to the

proVIsIOns of and regulations made under the Planning Act, 1983, as
amended.
