By-law Number 86-18
A By-law to amend Zoning By-law Number 82-25 as amended.

THE COUNCIL of the corporation of the Township of Medonte
under Section 34 of the Planning Act, S.O. 1983, c.l, as amended,
ENACTS as follows:

1. By-law 82-25 as amended, being the Township of Medonte zoning
By-law, is hereby further amended by changing the area on Schedule
nAn, Map nln to By-law 82-25 as shown on Schedule nAn attached to
this By-law, from private Open Space (OS2) to General Residential
Exception (Rl-7).
2. Subsection 2.21, Zone Exceptions, of By-law 82-25 as amended,
is hereby further amended by adding Subsection 2.21.22 as follows:
n2.21.22 Rl-7
The lands in Lot 2, Concession IV, shown as Rl-7 on
schedule nAn, Map nln, which are described as Part 1 on
Reference plan 51R-13173, may be used only for single family
detached dwellings, a home occupation subject to the
provisions of Subsection 3.10, or a day nursery.
The Zone Regulations of subsection 2.1.3 General
Residential (Rl) Zone shall apply save and except for the
following:
1. The minimum lot frontage shall be forty (40)
metres.
2. The minimum lot area shall be 2500 Square
metres.
3. The maximum number of dwelling units permitted
. within this Rl-7 Zone shall be two ( 2) .
4. The provisions of Section 3 shall apply.

4. This By-law shall take effect and shall come into force
.~.,~ pursuant to the provisions of and regulations made under the
Planning Act.

APPENDIX wAw TO THE APPLICATION FOR
APPROVAL OF BY-LAW NO. 86-1&
purpose of this By-law
.
This By-law will re-zone a parcel of land in the Horseshoe
valley area from private Open Space (OS2) to General
Residential Exception ((RI-7) to permit the development of a
maximum of two (2) single family detached dwellings. The
parcel of land has an area of 0.571 hectares and lies at the
northeasterly end of Pine Ridge Trail beetween Registered
plan of subdivision No. M-10 and the Pine Ridge Ski Club.
Additional uses permitted include a home occupation and a day
nursery which are also permitted uses in the adjoining single
family residential subdivisions.
This zoning By-law conforms with the Official plan for the
Township of Medonte Planning Area which was approved by the
Ministry of Housing on February 8, 1980.
Location of Lands Affected
A portion of concession IV, Lot 2 in the Township as shown on
the attached Schedule "A".
