As you know, the Chamber is in its early days as an organization, seeking to encourage and promote business interests in our municipality, and with a fairly small (though growing) membership base, we still need your support to achieve our mutual goals. We thank you that such support has been given. The Directors met last evening and learned the financial results of the Awards Banquet and Silent Auction. We are very pleased to have cleared over $4,000.00. The Directors want to thank the Township for allowing us to use the facilities at the Guthrie Arena for free. Every consideration helps us achieve a satisfactory bottom line. We were pleased that so many members of Council were able to attend the Awards Dinner. Your presence adds credibility to the Chamber. A special thanks to Mayor Craig for your warm words of greeting on behalf of Council. We appreciate the many ways that Oro-Medonte Township participates with the Chamber, providing needed funding, lending the support of your presence, and extending special consideration.
