I II II CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO BY-LAW NO. 90-50 A By-Law to rezone Part of Lot 21, Concession 5. WHEREAS Zoning By-Law No. 1031 was enacted to regulate the use of land and the character, location and use of buildings and structures within the Township of Oro; AND WHEREAS at the public meeting the zone requested and discussed was the Highway Commercial (C2) Zone; AND WHEREAS comments received from the Simcoe County District Health Unit requested that the uses on these lands be restricted to "low water uses"; AND WHEREAS Council deems the zoning of these lands in By-law 90-41 to General Commercial (C1) as inappropriate; AND WHEREAS Council deems it desirable to rezone these lands to the appropriate C2-Exception Zoning, and does not consider it necessary to proceed to a second public meeting; AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro deems it desirable to further amend By-Law No. 1031, as amended; AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, 1983, to the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro to exercise such powers. NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO ENACTS AS FOLLOWS: 1. By-Law 90-41 is hereby repealed by this By-Law. 2. Schedule "C" to By-Law 1031 for the Township of Oro, as amended, is hereby further amended by rezoning those lands shown on Schedule "A'I attached hereto, from the General Industrial (M1) Zone to the Highway Commercial - Exception (C2-3) Zone. 3. Section 9.3 Highway Commercial (C2) Zone, Subsection 9 3.4 is hereby amended as follows: 3. Pt. Lot 21, Concession 5 Notwithstanding the provisions of Section 9.3.1 of this By-law, the uses permitted on those lands described as Pt.. of Lot 21, Concession 5, and shown orl Schedule HAil as (C2-3), shall be limited to the following: - automotive sales and service - public garage - trailer and mobile home sales - automobile service station associated with other personal services serving the travelling public - gift shops - tourist information centres 4.
