CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP
OF ORO
BY-LAW NO. 90-68
A By-law to rezone lands located in part of the east half of Lot
21, Concession 3, in the Township of Oro.
WHEREAS Official Plan Amendment No. 45 was enacted by Council and
submitted to the Ministry of Municipal Affairs on March 5, 1990.
AND WHEREAS Zoning By-law No. 1031 was enacted to regulate the use
of land and the character, location and use of buildings and
structures within the Township of Oro.
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro
deems it desirable by amending zoning By-law No. 1031 as amended,
to implement Official Plan Amendment No. 45.
AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to section 34 of the
Planning Act, 1983, to the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Oro to exercise such powers.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "c" to By-law No. 1031 as amended for the Township
of Oro is hereby further amended by rezoning the lands shown
on Schedule "A" attached hereto from the Agricultural (A) Zone
to the General Industrial Exception (Ml-2) Zone and Schedule
"A" attached hereto forms part of this By-law.
2. section 10.2 General Industrial (M1) Zone subsection 10.2.4
Exceptions is hereby amended by adding the following after
subsection 10.2.4.1.
"2. Part of Lot 21, Concession 3.
Notwithstanding the permitted industrial uses of section
10.2.1(a), the permitted uses for lands described as part
of Lot 21, Concession 3 and shown on Schedule "C" as M1-
2 shall be the manufacture of dog sleds, snowshoes and
related sporting equipment.
3. This By-law shall take effect and come into force pursuant to
the provisions of and regulations under the Planning Act.
