1990-076 Oro I II ~ I I I i II II II Ii ~ II I I i THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO BY-LAW NO. 90-76 Being a By-Law to Repeal By-Law No. 397 and Amend By-Law No. 90-49 WHEREAS By-Law No. 397 was passed by the Council for the corporation of the Township of Oro on the 13th day of April, 1910, being a By-Law for regulating the running at large of certain animals, for defining the duties of poundkeepers and fenceviewers and determining the compensation for regulating certain fences; AND WHEREAS By-Law No. 90-49, the Annual Appointment By-Law refers to By-Law No. 397 in Section 3.5 of the By-Law; AND WHEREAS Council deems it advisable and expedient to repeal By-law No. 397 because it has become antiquated by today's standards; NOW THEREFORE the Council for the corporation of the Township of Oro hereby enacts as follows: 1. By-law No. 397 is hereby repealed in its entirety. 2. By-Law No. 90-49 is hereby amended by repealing clause 3.5 of the By-law and replacing it with the following: "Robert Ego and Earl Robertson are appointed poundkeepers for the Municipality to act in that capacity under the relevant legislation." 3. This By-Law shall be deemed to be effective on the date of passing hereof. READ a first and second time this 5th day of July, 1990. READ a third time and finally passed this 5th day of July, 1990.
