2024-074 By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to lands at Concessions 3 and 4 (Oro), Parts 3 and 4, RP 51R37221, O-M 2024-ZBA-06 Eagles Ret Estates4-074The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte By-law No. 2024-074 A By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to lands at Concessions 3 and 4 (Oro), Parts 3 and 4, RP 51R37221, Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe 2024-ZBA-06 (Eagles Rest Estates) Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act, R.S.O 1990, cP.13, as amended; And Whereas Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands; Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. That notwithstanding the existing provisions of the Residential One Exception 319 (R1-319) and Residential One Exception 320 (R1-320) Zones, and notwithstanding Section 5.1.3, the following additional provisions apply to the R1- 319 and R1-320 zones: a. A retaining wall greater than 1 m in height may be permitted within 0 metres of the front lot line b. A retaining wall greater than 1m in height may be permitted within 0 metres of the rear lot line c. A retaining wall greater than 1 m in height may be permitted within 0 metres of an exterior side yard d. A retaining wall greater than 1 m in height may be permitted within 0 metres of an interior side lot line. 2. That all other provisions of the Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, shall apply. 3. That this By-law shall come into force and take effect on the date of passing thereof, subject to the provisions of Section 34 of The Planning Act, R.S.O., 1990, as amended.
