1991-013 Oro II II [I 'I Ii I I I ., II I THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO BY-LAW NO. 91-13 Being a By-Law To Amend the Procedural By-Law for the Township of Oro WHEREAS By-Law No. 89-36 was passed by Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro on the 26th day of May, 1989; AND WHEREAS By-Law No. 89-36 set out the procedural rules for the conducting of business by the Council and Council now deems it advisable to amend this By-Law; NOW THEREFORE Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro hereby enacts as follows: 1. That By-Law No. 89-36 be amended as follows: (a) by inserting a Subsection after 19(b) to read "Adoption of the Agenda", with all subsequent Subsections renumbered to reflect this addition. (b) by deleting Section 19(n) "Motions of which notice has been previously given and Notice of Motion", with all subsequent Subsections renumbered to reflect this deletion. (c) by inserting the following section between sections 19 and 20 of the By-Law: "section 19.1 In adopting the Agenda, Council may permit additions to it or any deletions provided that the subject matter of any items to be added to the agenda has been on a previous agenda. Adoption of the agenda shall be by resolution of Council, passed by a majority of council members." (d) by deleting section 20(a) dealing with the introduction of motions without notice and renumbering Section 20(b) entitled 'Motions' to 20(a). 2. This By-Law shall come into force and take effect upon the passage thereof. READ a first and second time this 4th day of February, 1991.
