1991-053 Oro II II II 'I I I I I I 1- Ii II II I I I THE CORPORATZON OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO BY-LAW NO. 91- 53 Bei~g a By-Law to Temporarily Close George street in Harbourwood Subdivision WHEREAS Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro has received a request from residents of Harbourwood to close George street in order to hold a community party; AND WHEREAS the Ontario Provincial Police have indicated that they have no concerns about the holding of such a community party; AND WHEREAS Section 208(44) of the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, amended provides that Councils may pass by-laws to close any highway to vehicular traffic on a temporary basis for a social, recreational or community purpose; NOW THEREFORE Council for the Corporation of the Township of Oro hereby enacts as follows: 1. George Street in Harbourwood Subdivision, Plan M-118 shall be closed from 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 27, 1991 to 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 1991. 2. The residents requesting this event shall be responsible for erecting barricades at the intersections of George Street and Elvyn Street and George Street and Howard Street, making the section of George Street inaccessible. 3. The residents requesting this event shall be responsible for ensuring that all litter and debris is removed from the area and the barricades are removed by 6:00 a.m. on Sunday, July 28, 1991. 4. This by-law is in effect upon passage thereof. READ a first and second time this 17th day of July, 1991. READ a third time and finally passed this 17th day of July, 1991.
