1991-065 Oro THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO BY-LAW NO. 91-65 A By-Law to Appoint a Deputy-Clerk and a Deputy Division Registrar WHEREAS the Municipal Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 302, as amended, section 77(2) provides that the Council of a Municipality may by By-Law appoint a Deputy-Clerk; and section 208(45) of the same Act provides that Council may by By-Law appoint such other officers and servants as may be necessary for the purposes of the Corporation; AND WHEREAS the Vital statistics Act, R.S.O. 1980, Chapter 524, as amended, section 34(4) provides for the appointment of a Deputy Division Registrar; NOW THEREFORE the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro enacts as follows: 1. THAT Lynda Aiken is hereby appointed Deputy-Clerk; 2. THAT Lynda Aiken is hereby appointed Deputy Division Registrar subject to the approval of the Registrar General; 3. THAT Lynda Aiken is hereby appointed an Issuer of Licenses under By-Law No. 86-87 as amended; 4. THAT Lynda Aiken shall be paid such salary or other remuneration as Council shall from time to time determine, as recommended by the Administrator/Clerk; 5. THAT Lynda Aiken shall carry out her duties as outlined in By-Law No. 89-106; 6. THAT By-Law #89-107 is hereby repealed. 7. THAT this by-law shall take effect on the 16th day of September 1991.
