THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
BY-LAW NO. 91- 89
A By-Law to remove the minimum lot depth provision in the General
Residential (RG) Zone, Resort Residential (RR) Zone, and the Rural
Residential (RUR) Zone and to delete section 7.2.3. Lots with Less
than Minimum Required Depth relating to lands located in Part of
Lot 28, concession 3 in its entirety.
WHEREAS zoning By-law No. 1031 was enacted to regulate the use of
land and the character, location and use of buildings and
structures within the Township of Oro,
AND WHEREAS the Council of the corporation of the Township of Oro
deems it appropriate to further amend By-law No. 1031 as amended,
AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to section 34 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1983, to the council of the corporation of the
Township of Oro to exercise such powers.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. section 7 - Residential (R) Zones, Subsection 7.2 General
Residential (RG) Zone, Subsection 7.2.2 Zone Provisions, (a)
For a single Family Dwelling, is hereby amended by deleting
Clause iii in its entirety which reads as follows:
"iii)
Minimum Lot Depth
45m"
and by renumbering the subsequent clauses accordingly.
2. section 7 - Residential (R) Zones, Subsection 7.2 General
Residential (RG) Zone, Subsection 7.2.2 Zone provisions, (b)
For a Semi Detached or Duplex, is hereby amended by deleting
Clause ii in its entirety which reads as follows:
"iii)
Minimum Lot Depth
45m"
and by renumbering the subsequent clauses accordingly.
3. section 7 - Residential (R) Zones, Subsection 7.3 Resort
Residential (RR) Zone, Subsection 7.3.2 Zone provisions, (c)
Minimum Lot Depth, is hereby amended by deleting Clause (c) in
its entirety which reads as follows:
"(c)
Minimum Lot Depth
45m"
and by renumbering the subsequent clauses accordingly.
4 . section 7 - Residential (R) Zones, Subsection 7.8 Rural
Residential (RUR) Zone, Subsection 7.8.2 Zone Regulations, is
hereby amended deleting Clause (c) in its entirety which reads
as follows:
"(c) _

and by renumbering the subsequent clause accordingly.

section 7 - Residential (R) Zone, Subsection 7.2 General
Residential (RG) Zone, Subsection 7.2.3 Lots with Less than
Minimum Required Depth, is hereby amended by deleting in its
entirety, Subsection 7.2.3 which reads as follows:

Lots with Less than Minimum Required Depth
Notwi thstanding the provisions of Section 7.2.2 with
respect to minimum lot depths, those lands located in Lot
28, Concession III and further identified as Lots 1, 2,
3, 9, 12, 17, and 20 on a plan prepared for registration
by W.N. Wildman Limited and identified as Project No.
6542.2, may be used for the regulations applicable to a
dwelling subject in a General Residential RG Zone as set
out in this By-law, ,
and by renumbering Subsection 7.2.4 Converted Seasonal
Dwelling and 7.2.5 Exceptions to 7.2.3 and 7.2.4 respectively.
6. This by-law shall take effect and come into force pursuant to
the provision of and regulations made under the Planning Act
R.S.O. 1983.
