THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
BY-LAW NO. 93-3
A By-law to site specifically zone lots 2, 3, 4, 6, 7, 8, of Plan
M-447.
WHEREAS Zoning By-law No. 1031 was enacted to regulate the use of
land and the character, location and use of buildings and
structures within the Township of Oro in the County of Simcoe;
AND WHEREAS the Council of the corporation of the Township of Oro
deems it appropriate to further amend By-law No. 1031, as amended;
AND WHEREAS this By-law is in conformity with the Official Plan of
the Township of Oro;
AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to section 34 of the
Planning Act, 1983, to the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Oro to exercise such powers.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF
ORO ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. That By-law 1031 of the Township of Oro, as amended, namely
Section 7.2 General Residential Subsection 7.2.4 Exceptions
is hereby further amended by adding an additional section as
follows:
"4. Notwi thstanding the required provisions of Section 7.2.2
(iv) of this By-law, the minimum front yard setback for
those lands described as Lots 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8, Plan
M-447, Concession 4 may have a minimum front yard
setback of 4.5 metres for the dwelling unit and 6 metres
for any detached garage or portion of the dwelling unit
which is an attached garage. Each lot shall host a
minimum of 2 parking stalls which are exterior to any
structure."
2. Schedule "F" Map 1, to By-law 1031 is hereby amended by
rezoning Lots 2, 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8, Plan M-447 from the
General Residential (RG) Zone to the General Residential
Exception (RG-4) Zone.
3. Schedule "A" attached hereto forms part of this By-law.
4. This By-law shall take effect and come into force pursuant to
the provision of and regulations made under the Planning Act,
1983.
