THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
BY-LAW NO. 93- 14
A By-Law to amend the Estate Residential (RE) Zone Provisions.
WHEREAS Zoning By-law No. 1031,as amended, was enacted to regulatel
the use of land and the character, location and use of buildings
and structures within the Township of Oro,
AND WHEREAS the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro
deems it appropriate to further amend By-law No. 1031 as amended,
AND WHEREAS this By-law is in conformity with the Official Plan.
AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to section 34 of thel
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, to the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Oro to exercise such powers.
AND WHEREAS this by-law shall take effect and come into force
pursuant to the provisions of and regulations made under the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. section 7.4 Estate Residential (RE) Zone Subsection 7.4.2
Zone provisions is hereby amended as follows:
(a) section (a) Minimum Lot Frontage is hereby amended by
repealing "60 metres" and replacing it with "45 metres";
(b) section (b) Minimum Lot Area is hereby amended by
repealing "8000 sq. metres" and replacing it with "4000
sq. metres";
(c) section (c) Minimum Lot Depth and section (d) Maximum Lot
Coveraqe are hereby repealed in their entirety;
(d) Section (e) Minimum Front Yard is hereby renumbered to
section (c) and each provision thereafter appropriately
renumbered.
(e) After section (q) Minimum Floor Area, is hereby amended
by adding the following:
"(h) (i) Minimum Setback from a 15 % or
more slope not in association
with a water course.
7.5 metres
(ii) Minimum Setback from a 15% or
more slope associated with a
water course, municipal drain,
limits of a flood plain, or
wetland area; OR
15 metres
(iii) Minimum setback from a defined
wetland boundary;
30 metres
which ever is greater."
2. This By-law shall take effect and come into force pursuant
the provision of and regulations made under the Planning Act,
1983.
