That it is recommended to Council that Staff be asked to canvas relevant Township Departments to determine the feasibility and appropriateness of installing such a monument on Township property. 3. That Staff return to the Committee with any recommended conditions or requirements for the establishment of the monument. 4. Verbal Matters � ft (Section 13.3 of Township's Township of Procedural By-Law No. 2023-043 Proud Heritage,Exciting Future Cemetery Signage: • The cemetery signs do not fall within the parameters of the Township's current wayfinding project. • The Committee will have to apply for funding to cover the cost of the signs. Updates to the Heritage Section of the Township's Website: • We can incorporate the information that was gathered as part of the Ambassador Program onto the heritage section of the Township's website. We can use this opportunity to help promote the Township's Ambassador Program, which encourages residents to learn about the history of the Township. Book Sales: • Update on book sales. Page 11 of 11
