BY-LAW NO. 93- 98
A By-Law to Rezone Part of Lots 8,9 and 10, concession 14
WHEREAS zoning By-law No. 1031 was enacted to regulate the use of
land and the character, location and use of buildings and
structures within the Township of Oro,
AND WHEREAS the Council of the corporation of the Township of Oro
deems it appropriate to further amend By-law No. 1031 as amended,
AND WHEREAS this By-law is in conformity with the Official Plan.
AND WHEREAS authority is granted pursuant to section 34 of the
Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, to the Council of the Corporation of the
Township of Oro to exercise such powers.
AND WHEREAS this by-law shall take effect and corne into force
pursuant to the provisions of and regulations made under the
Planning Act, 1990.
NOW THEREFORE THE COUNCIL OF THE CORPORATION OF THE TOWNSHIP OF ORO
ENACTS AS FOLLOWS:
1. Schedule "F", Map 3 to By-law 1031 for the Township of Oro as
amended is hereby further amended by rezoning those lands
shown on Schedule "A", attached hereto, from the Extractive
Industrial (M2) Zone to the Extractive Industrial Exception
(M2-6) Zones, and from the Agricultural (A) and Rural
Aggregate (RU1) Zones to the Extractive Industrial Exception
Hold (M2-6(H)) Zone.
2. section 10.3.3 Exceptions, of By-law 1031 for the Township of
Oro as amended is further amended by adding the following
special exception:

Concession XIV
Part of Lots 8, 9 & 10,
Extractive Industrial Exception (M2-6)
Notwithstanding the provisions of section 10.3.2(b) and
(c), of the By-law as they apply to the Extractive
Industrial (M2) Zone, on those lands described as Part of
Lots 8, 9 & 10, Concession XIV, and shown on Schedule "A"
attached as M2-6, the minimum side and rear yard
provisions shall be as follows:
(a) minimum interior side yard
15 metres
(b) minimum rear yard
15 metres"
3. The Holding (H) symbol shown on Schedule "F" Map 3 to By-law
1031, Township of Oro, as amended, shall not be removed until
such time as Council is in receipt of a Letter of Credit in an
amount as outlined in an agreement signed by the proponents
and enacted by Council on December 8, 1993 for the costs of
the intersection improvements at the 13th line and County Road
11; and an application requesting removal of the holding zone.
4. Schedule "A", attached, forms part of this By-law.
5. This By-law shall take effect and corne into force upon
approval of Official Plan Amendment Number 61 and pursuant to
the provisions of and regulations made under the Planning Act,
R.S.O., 1990.
