A By-law to amend the zoning provisions which apply to lands at
112 Lakeshore Road West&35 Shelswell Boulevard, Concession 7 Part Lot 27
(Oro),
Township of Oro-Medonte
2023-ZBA-10 (Dykstra)
Whereas the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte is empowered
to pass By-laws to regulate the use of land pursuant to Section 34 of the Planning Act,
R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13.
And Whereas Council deems it appropriate to rezone the subject lands.
Now Therefore the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows:
1. Schedule'A4' to Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further amended by
changing the zone symbol applying to the lands located in Concession 7 Part Lot 27,
Geographic Township of Oro, Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, from
the Local Industrial (LI)Zone to the Residential One Exception (R1*345)Zone and
the Shoreline Residential Exception (SR*346)Zone, as shown on Schedule"A"
attached and forming part of this By-law.
2. Section 7—Exception of Zoning By-law 97-95, as amended, is hereby further
amended by adding the following subsections:
"7.345*345 Concession 7 Part Lot 27 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte
(Dykstra)
Notwithstanding any other provision in this By-law, the following
provisions apply to lands denoted by the symbol *345 on the schedules
to this By-law:
a) Minimum lot area: 760.0 square metres;
b) Minimum lot frontage: 22.75 metres(74.6 feet)."
"7.346*346 Concession 7 Part Lot 27 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte
(Dykstra)
Notwithstanding Section 5.1.3 (d), a detached accessory building existing on
the lands on the date of the passing of this By-law shall have a minimum
westerly interior side yard setback of 0.19 metres(0.65 feet) on the lands
denoted by the symbol *346 on the schedule to this By-law.
Notwithstanding Section 5.1.3 (b), a detached accessory building existing on
the lands on the date of the passing of this By-law shall have a minimum rear
yard setback for a detached accessory building of 1.5 metres (4.9 feet) on the
lands denoted by the symbol *346 on the schedule to this By-law".
Any new or replacement accessory buildings and structures shall comply with
Section 5.1 of the Zoning By-law.
3. Schedule"A" attached to By-law No. 2023-073 is declared to form a part of this By-
law.
4. This By-law shall come into effect upon the date of passage hereof, subject to the
provisions of the Planning Act, as amended.

By-Law No. 2023-075
Being a By-Law to Confirm the Proceedings of the Council Meeting held on
Wednesday,August 2, 2023
Whereas Section 5 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C. 25, as amended
provides that the powers of the Municipal Council shall be exercised by By-Law,
unless the municipality is specifically authorized to do otherwise;
And Whereas The Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte
deems it expedient that the proceedings at this Council Meeting be confirmed and
adopted by By-Law;
Now Therefore the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte
hereby enacts as follows:
1. That the actions of the Council at its Council Meeting held on Wednesday,
August 2, 2023, and in respect to each Motion, Resolution and other actions
passed and taken by the Council at its said Meeting is, except where prior
approval of the Ontario Land Tribunal is required, hereby adopted, ratified and
confirmed.
2. That the Mayor and the proper Officials of the Township are hereby authorized
and directed to do all things necessary to give effect to the said action or to
obtain approvals where required and to execute all documents as may be
necessary on behalf of the Council of the Corporation of the Township of Oro-
Medonte.
3. That the Mayor/Chair and Clerk/Designate are hereby authorized and directed to
execute and affix the corporate seal to all necessary documents.
4. And That this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the final passing
thereof.
