Call to Order - Moment of Reflection: Mayor Greenlaw assumed the Chair at the above noted time and called the meeting to order. 2. Adoption of Agenda: a) Motion to Adopt the Agenda. Motion No. C230607-1 Moved by Young, Seconded by Clark Be it resolved that the agenda for the Council meeting of Wednesday, June 7, 2023 be received and adopted. Carried. Disclosure of Pecuniary Interest: Councillor Schell declared a pecuniary interest with respect to Item 5a) of the 06 07 2023 Development Services Committee meeting, Notice of Receipt of a Complete Application; Notice of Particulars and Public Access; Notice of Public Meeting for Proposed Amendment to the Zoning By-law of the Township of Oro-Medonte, South Part Lot 15, Concession 12, Part 1, 51 R-11797 Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte, municipally known as 1494 15116 Sideroad East, 2023-ZBA-05 (Schell) as Councillor Schell indicated this item is for his personal home. The Public Meeting is being held to obtain public comments with respect to the proposed Application and there was no recommendation/decision during this time. 4. Minutes of Council and Committees: a) Minutes of Council meeting held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023. Motion No. C230607-2 Moved by Schell, Seconded by Hutcheson Be it resolved that the draft minutes of the Council meeting held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023 be received and adopted as printed and circulated. Carried. b) Recommendations of the Development Services Committee meeting held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023. By -Laws: a) 2023-042: A By-law to Amend the Zoning Provisions which apply to lands at 45 Ward Avenue, Plan 979 Lot 47 (Oro), Township of Oro-Medonte, 2022-ZBA-14 (Cadiou). b) 2023-045: A By-law to allow a Temporary Use for a Garden Suite by Wendy Hatch and Grant Bennett on lands described as follows: Concession 3 East Part Lot 15 North East Part Lot 14 (Medonte), Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, (Municipally known as 1165 Moonstone Road West), under Section 34 and 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, Roll # 4346-020-002-01500. c) 2023-046: A By-law to Remove the Holding Symbol on Lands Described as Follows: Concession 11, West Part Lot 9 (Oro) Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe Roll # 4346-010-004-17300. d) 2023-047: Being a By -Law to Authorize the Execution of an Agreement Between the Township of Oro-Medonte and Justin and Connor Maas to Allow for a Temporary Trailer. e) 2023-048: A By-law to Authorize the Execution of a Temporary Use By -Law Agreement (Garden Suite) Between the Township of Oro-Medonte and Wendy Hatch and Grant Bennett on lands described as follows: Concession 3 East Part Lot 15 North East Part Lot 14 (Medonte), Township of Oro-Medonte, County of Simcoe, (Municipally known as 1165 Moonstone Road West), under Section 34 and 39 of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c.P.13, as amended, Roll # 4346-020-002-01500. Motion No. C230607-5 Moved by Bard, Seconded by Schell Be it resolved that By -Law No. 2023-051: Being a by-law to confirm the proceedings of the Council meeting held on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 be read a first, second and third time, passed, be engrossed by the Deputy Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor.
