The Anishnaabek include the Odawa [Oh-DAH-wah], Ojibwe [0-jib-we] and Pottawatomi [boh-tah-WAH-toh-mee] nations, collectively known as the Three Fires Confederacy. It continues today as the home for diverse Indigenous Peoples including the historic Metis Community in Penetanguishene. Page 1 of 15 Council Meeting Minutes — Wednesday, April 26, 2023.
