1. Opening of Meeting:
Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the Chair at the above -noted time and called the meeting
to order.
2. Agenda Approval:

a) DS2022-123, Catherine McCarroll, Intermediate Planner re: Minor Variance
Application 2022-A-52, Irene Zahrebelny, 2 Karpatian Place.
Mayor H.S. Hughes called the hearing to order and explained the public hearing is
being held in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act to obtain public
comments with respect to the proposed application by Irene Zahrebelny.
The following correspondence was received: Township of Oro-Medonte, Operations
Division dated September 15, 2022; Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager, Development
Engineering dated September 16, 2022; Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority
dated September 20, 2022 Township of Oro-Medonte, Building Division dated
September 28, 2022.
Catherine McCarroll, Intermediate Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the
proposed application. A PowerPoint presentation was presented.
The applicant and the agent on behalf of the applicant were present but were unable to
connect electronically.
Staff confirmed that no additional public registrations were received.
Staff confirmed that no additional correspondence from the public were received during
this hearing.
There being no further comments or questions, the hearing adjourned.

1. That DS2022-123, Catherine McCarroll, Intermediate Planner re: Minor Variance
Application 2022-A-52, Irene Zahrebelny, 2 Karpatian Place be received and
adopted.
2. That Minor Variance Application 2022-A-52 by Irene Zahrebelny, specifically to
permit construction of a single detached dwelling with a reduced setback of 15.0
metres (49.2 feet) from the top of bank of the watercourse on lands municipally
known as 2 Karpatian Place, Township of Oro-Medonte, be approved, subject to the
conditions as outlined in DS2022-123.
3. That the applicant be advised of the Development Services Committee's decision
under the Secretary -Treasurer's signature.

Mayor H.S. Hughes called the hearing to order and explained the public hearing is
being held in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act to obtain public
comments with respect to the proposed application by Randy Langstaff.
The following correspondence was received: Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager,
Development Engineering dated September 16, 2022; Township of Oro-Medonte,
Operations Division dated September 20, 2022; Lake Simcoe Region Conservation
Authority dated September 26, 2022 Township of Oro-Medonte, Building Division dated
September 28, 2022.
Danielle Waters, Planner, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed application.
A PowerPoint presentation was presented.
Randy Langstaff, applicant, and Chris Langstaff, on behalf of the applicant, were
present.
Staff confirmed that no additional public registrations were received.

53, Randy Langstaff, 419 Line 11 South be receivedand adopted.
2. That Minor Variance Application 2022-A-53 by Randy Langstaff specifically to
enlarge a non -complying structure by permitting the construction of an addition to
an existing single detached dwelling within the 30 metre (98.4 feet) setback to a
watercourse and the Environmental Protection Zone, and a reduced front yard
setback for a covered unenclosed deck to 5.18 metres (17.0 feet), on lands
municipally known as 419 Line 11 South, be deferred, to allow the applicant time to
satisfy the Lake Simcoe Region Conservation Authority (LSRCA) comments.
3. That the applicant be advised of the Development Services Committee's decision
under the Secretary -Treasurer's signature.

Mayor H.S. Hughes called the hearing to order and explained the public hearing is
being held in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act to obtain public
comments with respect to the proposed application by Katherine Mansfield & Derick
Underschultz.
The following correspondence was received: Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager,
Development Engineering dated September 16, 2022; Township of Oro-Medonte,
Operations Division dated September 20, 2022; Nottawasaga Valley Conservation
Authority dated September 28, 2022 Township of Oro-Medonte, Building Division dated
September 28, 2022.

2. That Minor Variance Application 2022-A-54 by Katherine Mansfield & Derick
Undershultz, specifically to permit the construction of a detached accessory building
(storage shed) measuring approximately 7.32 metres by 8.53 metres (24 feet by 28
feet) and to be located in the front yard, on lands municipally known as 29 Saint
Antoine Crescent, be approved, subject to the conditions as outlined in DS2022-
126.
3. That the applicant be advised of the Development Services Committee's decision
under the Secretary -Treasurer's signature.

brought forward for Council's consideration.
