2022-057 By-law to Repeal By-law 2003-006 in its entiretyThe Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte By -Law No. 2022-057 Being a By -Law to Repeal By-law 2003-006 in its entirety Whereas By-law 2003-006 was passed on February 5, 2003 to designate certain lands identified on Schedule 'A' to the By-law not to be part of a registered Plan of Subdivision for the purposes of Section 50(3) of the said Planning Act R.S.O. 1990 c. P.13, as amended; And Whereas, By-law 2003-006 does not meet the statutory requirements of Section 50(4) of the Planning Act, R.S.O. 1990, c. P.13; And Whereas the Council of the Township of Oro-Medonte considers it desirable that the lands be part of a registered Plan of Subdivision for the purposes of Section 50(3) of the Planning Act RS.O. 1990 c. P.13, as amended; And Whereas Section 5 of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, C. 25, as amended provides that the powers of the Municipal Council shall be exercised by By -Law, unless the municipality is specifically authorized to do otherwise; Now Therefore the Council of The Corporation of the Township of Oro-Medonte hereby enacts as follows: 1. That By-law 2003-006 including Schedule 'A' of said by-law be repealed in its entirety. 2. And That this by-law shall come into force and take effect on the final passing thereof subject to the provisions of Section 50(26), (28), and (29) of the Planning Act R.S.O. 1990, c.P. 13, as amended.
