Fred Haughton, P.W.A. Note: The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the 1994 Budget Estimates of various Departments. Mayor Drury chaired the meeting and called the meeting to order @ 9:00 a.m. 1. DEPUTATIONS: (a) 9:05 a.m. (b) 10:40 a.m. Mr. Henry Sander, Treasurer, provided brief overview of budget process including the option of transitional mill rates and Council gave further consideration to the General Government budget estimates. Mr. Ron Kolbe, C.B.O./B.E.O., presented to Council preliminary budget estimates for the Building and By-law Departments. Council recessed for lunch @ 11:45 a.m. and reconvened at 1:30 p.m. ( c) 2:00 p.m. MOTION NO.1 Mr. Fred Haughton, Public Works Administrator spoke to Council regarding preliminary budget estimates for the Roads Department, maintenance and construction portions. Moved by Bell, seconded by Mortson It is recommended that we suspend rule 7 of Procedural By-Law 94-38 in order to allow the meeting to proceed past the normal adjournment hour of 4:00 p.m. Carried. *' .. - 2 - MOTION NO.2 Moved by Crokam, seconded by Martin It is recommended that we do now adjourn @ 4:35 p.m. Carried. /to -<- ¿, ..
