Deputy Mayor Martin assumed the chair and called the meeting to
order, followed by prayer.

None declared although Mayor Beard stated that with regard to Item
# 13. (a) that as the persons involved are related, there is no
pecuniary interest and Mayor Beard did not speak to the issue nor
vote on the issue.

Deputy Mayor Martin extended recognition to Deputy Fire Chief Joe

Be it resolved that the correspondence from the
Penetanguishene, re: Support of the Severn Sound Remedial
Plan (RAP), be received and the Township of Oro-Medonte do
the resolution of the Town of Penetanguishene regarding the
Sound Remedial Action Plan and the Ministry of Environment
Energy and Great Lakes Clean-up Fund, be so advised.

Be it resolved that the correspondence from the Town of
Kapuskasing, re: Hospital Boards, be received and the Township of
Oro-Medonte do support the resolution of the Town of Kapuskasing
regarding the Hospital Boards and the Hon. Mike Harris, Premier of
ontario and the Hon. Jim Wilson, Minister of Health, be so advised.

Be it resolved that the correspondence from the Ontario Federation
of Snowmobile Clubs, re: Proclamation of Get Ready For Snowmobiling
Week, be recei ved and the Township of Oro-Medonte do hereby
proclaim November 24 -30th, 1996 as Get Ready for Snowmobiling
Week.

former Townships of Oro, Vespra, Medonte, Flos and Township of
orillia with respect to the deletion of the terms and expiry date,
be introduced and read a first and second time and numbered
No. 96-102.

engrossed by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the Deputy Mayor.

Be it resolved that a By-law to Amend By-law No. 91-91 of the
former Township of Oro, a By-law with respect to the imposition of
development charges, be introduced and read a first and second time
and numbered By-law No. 96-103.

That By-law 96-103, be read a third time and finally passed, be
engrossed by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the Deputy Mayor.
