URIL 15. 111' laOO A.M. - COUBCIL CDIIBD8 8I~-Pr.R8~ DBrING 1114-111' COUNCIL council met this morning @ 9:20 a.m. with the following members present: Mayor Ian Beard arrived @ 1:25 p.m. Deputy Mayor Murray Martin Councillor Walter Dickie Councillor Don Bell Councillor Neil craig Councillor Ron Sommers e Absent: Councillor Larry Cotton staff Present: Jennifer Zieleniewski, Treasurer/Acting CAO, Jerry Ball, Roads Superintendent, Paul Eenhoorn, Fire Chief, Fred Haughton, Director of Public Works, Keith Mathieson, Foreman, Deborah Broderick, Director, Recreation & Community Economic Development, Kim Allen, Parks & Facility Manager, Jeff Brydges, Deputy Treasurer, Ron Kolbe, Director, Building/planning, Andria Leigh, Development Co- ordinator. This Special Meeting of Council was called in accordance with the Procedural By-law to review the budget information. In the absence of the Mayor, the Deputy Mayor assumed the chair and called the meeting to order. 1. "DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND THE GENERAL NATURE THEREOF. - IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ACT" None declared. 2. ADOPT I 011 OF THE AGENDA: 3. DEPUTATIOIIS: (a) 9:20 a.m. Jennifer Zieleniewski, Treasurer/Acting CAO, reviewed with Council the budget. HOTION NO. 1 e Moved by Sommers, seconded by Bell Be it resolved that the Agenda for the special Council Meeting dated Wednesday, April 15, 1996, be adopted as printed. Carried. HOTION NO.2 Moved by Bell, seconded by Sommers Be it resolved we suspend Rule 7 of By-law No. 95-44, the Procedural By-law, to proceed past the hour of 4:00 p.m. Carried. .A - 2 - HOT I ON 110. 3 Moved by Dickie, seconded by Craig Be it resolved that we do now go In-Camera @ 4:25 p.m. Carried. HOT I 011 NO. 5 Moved by craig, seconded by Dickie Be it resolved that a By-law to Confirm the Proceedings of Council, be introduced and read a first and second time and numbered By-la No. 96-34. Carried. That By-law 96-34 be read a third time and finally passed, b engrossed by the Deputy Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor. carried.
