DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND GENERAL NATURE THEREOF: - IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ACT Councillor Dickie declared a pecuniary interest with items 4. (c) and 4. (d) regarding 9-1-1, the nature being, Councillor Dickie is the owner/operator of Muskoka Medical Alert Ltd. which provides emergency response services. Councillor Dickie did not participate or vote on the recommendation. 2. MOTION NO.1 Moved by Sommers, seconded by Bell It is recommended that the Agenda for the Committee of the Whole Meeting dated Wednesday, October 23, 1996 be adopted as printed and circulated with the addition of the following: 8. Carried. 8 MOTION NO.2 Moved by Craig, seconded by Dickie It is recommended that Snow Removal Tenders, Contract No. PR-96- 40 be received and referred to the Director of Recreation & Community Economic Development for a recommendation. Carried. MOTION NO.3 Moved by Bell, seconded by Sommers It is recommended that the correspondence from the Oro-Medonte Chamber of Commerce, re: Request to use Township colour crest, be received and denied as the crest should be used for municipal purposes only. MOTION NO.4 Moved by Sommers, seconded by Bell 8 It is recommended that the correspondence from the 9-1-1 Management Board, re: Public Emergency Reporting Service (PERS) Agreement, be received and that the Township of Oro-Medonte enter into the Public Emergency Reporting Service (PERS) Agreement with Orillia and Area (Option #1). MOTION NO.6 Moved by Sommers, seconded by Bell 8 It is recommended that the report from Jennifer Zieleniewski, Treasurer/CAO, re: Carriage Hills Resort Release of Securities, be received and adopted. Carried. MOTION NO.7 Moved by Craig, seconded by Dickie It is recommended that the report from Jerry Ball, Road Superintendent, re: Fence and Gate Installation South Yard Garage, be received and adopted as amended. Carried. MOTION NO.8 Moved by Dickie, seconded by Craig It is recommended that the report from Jerry Ball, Road Superintendent, re: Casino Signs, Forest Home, be received and adopted. Carried. MOTION NO.9 Moved by Dickie, seconded by Sommers It is recommended that the Municipal Addressing in the Maplecrest Subdivision and Pine Ridge subdivision be changed to reflect the addressing being currently used with the only exceptions being changes to accommodate corner lots. Carried. - 5 - MOTION NO. 11 Moved by Martin, seconded by Craig It is recommended that the amount of $300.C~ be contributed to the "Road Watch Program", operated by the Township of Oro-Medonte policing Committee, for start up costs and this amount be considered an over-run to the 1996 Budget. 8 MOTION NO. 12 Moved by Craig, seconded by Dickie Carried.
