Also Present Were: Nick McDonald, Gary Cunnington, Mona Barnum, Betty Veitch, Donna Snider, Joan Fitzgerald, Nancy Jobbitt, Allan Sinton. Mayor Beard chaired the meeting and called the meeting to order at 9:00 a.m. 1. DISCLOSURE OF PECUNIARY INTEREST AND GENERAL NATURE THEREOF: - IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE ACT. None. 2. DEPUTATIONS: (a) Deborah Broderick, Director, Recreation & Community Economic Development, opened the tenders for PR-97-40, Snow Removal. The items discussed were the Hawkestone Secondary Plan; Craighurst Secondary Plan; and Oro Centre Terms of Reference. (c) (d) - 2- 11 :00 p.m. Mr. Ron Mills and Robert Stinson did not attend as requested but provided further correspondence with respect to their request which was addressed by Council. 11 :05 p.m. Mrs. Joan Fitzgerald addressed quotes received with respect to some printing of forms for Council information and her efforts to date regarding funding through approaching local businesses. Mrs. Fitzgerald discussed with Council, the municipality's participation in installing signage for the Road Watch Committee. The maintenance of the accounting books was also addressed. Motion #7 Moved by Martin, seconded by Craig It is recommended that beginning in 1998 the Township of Oro-Medonte maintain the accounts for the Road Watch Program operating in the municipality. Of Lot 24, Conc. 1, E.P.R. Pts. 1,2 & 3 on Reference Plan 51 R -20699 for presentation to Council at the next available meeting. Carried.
