It is recommended that the Livestock Valuer Report from Ernest Bidwell, re: Brian
Simpson, Lot 24, Conc. 5, ewe injured by dogs, be received and the Treasurer
be authorized to make compensation to Mr. Simpson in the amount of $75.00.

Reduction in Securities, Clark & Clark, S-10/95, F25-006814, be received and
adopted and the Treasurer be authorized to reduce the letter of credit for Clark &
Clark Enterprises Inc. by $11,400.00 from $19,400.00 to $8,000.00 based on the
recommendation from R. G. Robinson and Associates (Barrie) Ltd.

Release of Securities, S.C.R.C.S.S.B., S02/94, F25-005334, be received and
adopted and the Treasurer be authorized to release the original Canadian
Imperial Bank of Commerce letter of credit no. T-359036, Dated December 17,
1993, in the amount of $135,000.00 based on The Simcoe County Roman
Catholic Separate School Board having completed the final grading of the site.

Reduction of Securities, Weat Parking Inc. By-law No. 96-77, be received and
adopted and the Treasurer be authorized to reduce The Bank of Nova Scotia
Letter of Credit No. 1359 dated August 1,1996 by $74,000.00 from $100,000.00
to $26,000.00.

the correspondence from Lake Simcoe Regional Airport Commission, re:
Resolutions regarding Refund of Aviation Fuel Tax, be received and further,
WHEREAS the Government of Ontario levies a tax on aviation fuel for all aircraft
operating in the Province, and
WHEREAS this gas is dispensed and taxes collected, on behalf of the
Government, by the staff of all municipal airports in Ontario, and
WHEREAS the Government of Ontario has eliminated operational grants to all
municipal airports, and
WHEREAS the Provincial Government has eliminated all capital grants to
municipal airports, and
WHEREAS the Provincial "Who Does What Committee" has recommended that a
portion of the provincial gasoline tax be refunded to the municipalities to assist in
the maintenance and construction of roads, etc., and
WHEREAS it is reported that the Provincial Government raises millions of dollars
in aviation fuel tax in each and every year.
THEREFORE be it resolved that the Township of Oro-Medonte, petition the
Provincial Government to seriously consider an annual aviation fuel tax refund to
all municipal airports in Ontario to assist in the capital and operational expenses
of each Airport.
THAT this resolution be forwarded to the Premier of Ontario, the Minister of
Transportation, the Chair of the "Who Does What Committee", appropriate
Members of the Provincial Parliament, the President of the Airport Management
Conference of Ontario and the Association of Municipalities of Ontario.

each Airport.
THAT this resolution be forwarded to the Prime Minister of Canada, the Minister
of Transport Canada, appropriate Members of the Federal Parliament, the
President of the Airport Management Conference of Ontario and the Federation
of Canadian Municipalities.
