DEPUTATIONS: c) 7:35 p.m. The following people addressed Council with respect to proposed uses on the abandoned CN Line from Thunder Bridge to the City of Orillia limits: Marjorie Bell, Frieda Baldwin, Sue MacKay, Edna Anderson for Derek Anderson, Betty Veitch for Edna Caldwell, Karen Sanderson, John Newman, Wilf McMechan, Kathleen . t I I Sullivan, Christine Lang, Phil Lalonde, Lenore Ball, Egan Paul, Peggy Sarjeant, Glen Kendall, John Dale, Peter Lang, Ross Cotton, Rosemary Dunsmore, Bob Murray, Andrew Currie, Debbie McKay, Evelyn Perdue, Steve McCullough, and Sharon Jenkins. The various groups representing passive recreation as well as active (snowmobile) recreation were provided an opportunity to address Council. A tape recording of the meeting is available for review. Motion No. 1 Moved by Bell, Seconded by McConnell Be it resolved that the agenda for the Special Council Meeting dated Monday, November 23, 1998, be adopted as printed and circulated. Carried. Motion No.2 Moved by Craig, Seconded by Sommers Be it resolved that a By-law to confirm the proceedings of the Special Council meeting held on Monday, November 23, 1998 be introduced and read a first and second time and numbered By-law No. 1998-119. Carried. That By-law No. 1998-119 be read a third time and finally passed, be engrossed by the Clerk, signed and sealed by the Mayor. Carried.
