Mayor Beard called the meeting to order and advised that all persons present would be afforded the opportunity of asking questions in respect to the proposed zoning by-law amendment. It was noted that the Township had received correspondence from Mr. Glen M. Brown and from Mr. Murray Martin with respect to the zoning by- law amendment. Ms. Andria Leigh, Township Planner, gave an overview of the location and the purpose and effect of the proposed zoning by-law amendment. Mr. Walter Dickie questioned the difference between Rural Industrial and Local Industrial. Ms. Leigh explained. Mr. Dickie asked if the usage that Ms. Leigh described is specific to the zoning or will other uses be allowed. Ms. Leigh responded that it would be Council's decision as to whether they would want to look at a Site Specific Rural Industrial or a small range of uses, or even leave it as Rural Industrial. Ms. Leigh explained that a third lot had been granted by the Ontario Municipal Board, but the conditions were not satisfied by the applicant, and therefore the approval for the third lot lapsed. There is no third lot in existence at this time. ~:.: ~~ I: II II ii II II II II I II I, Mr. Dickie questioned if the proposed zoning amendment would allow a water bottling plant to be built there, and the response was negative, since any use that required water is not permitted on the property.
