Mayor Beard called the meeting to order and advised that all persons
present would be afforded the opportunity of asking questions in respect
to the proposed zoning by-law amendment.
It was noted that the Township had received no correspondence with
respect to the zoning by-law amendment.
Ms. Andria Leigh, Township Planner, gave an overview of the purpose
and effect of the proposed zoning by-law amendment.
It was questioned whether the carriage house met building codes, and the
response was that if it did not, changes would have to be made before the
amendment is final. In order to satisfy the Official Plan requirements, the
dwellings have to be legally recognized dwellings. It was indicated that
they had to be constructed in compliance with the Official Plan at this time.
