Carried. 4 .1- Motion No.9 Moved by McConnell, Seconded by Craig It is recommended that the April 1/99 report from Jack Anderson, Livestock Valuer, re: calf killed by wolves. Calf owned by Eric Scott, Lot 12, Concession 10 (Oro) be received and the Treasurer be authorized to compensate Mr. Scott in the amount of $375.00. Carried. Motion No. 18 Moved by Hough, Seconded by McConnell It is recommended that the correspondence from the Ministry of Natural Resources re: Pit Licence Transfer be received and the Township has no concerns with respect to the proposed Pit Licence Transfer, and the Ministry be so advised. Motion No. 19 Moved by Craig, Seconded by Hough It is recommended that the correspondence from the Hawkestone and Area Community Association re: Heating Fuel for the Hawkestone Hall be received and the contract for Heating Fuel for the Hawkestone Hall be awarded to Crawford Fuels, and further that all participants be so advised. Motion No. 27 Moved by Fountain, Seconded by Bell It is recommended that Report No. RDS99-06 by Jerry Ball, Road Superintendent, re: Oro Agricultural Society Annual Fall Fair, September 16th - 18th, 1999 be received and adopted, and that the Fair Board be granted permission to use the Road's facility for the 1999 Oro World Fair, and further that the Fair Board be notified accordingly and be requested to have gates placed at all entrances. Motion No. 32 Moved by Sommers, Seconded by Bell Report No. ADM99-38 by Jennifer Zieleniewski, CAO/Treasurer, re: Township Logo be received and adopted, and that Council proceed with redesigning the Oro- Medonte Logo, and further that the CAO/Treasurer investigate alternative melhods of selecting a logo.
