(a) 7:20 p.m.
Mr. Mitch Fraser, representing Tri
Sport Promotions Inc. spoke to
Council regarding their 9th Annual
Triathlon to be held on Sunday,
August 20th for which the 56 mi.
bike run portion is held (Hwy.
#12/Conc. 2, Old Barrie Rd, cty. Rd.
57 & 15/16 Sideroad). Severn
Township had concerns mainly due to
the short sprint bike route where
approximately 1300 participate on
the 30 km route. The long sprint
through Oro-Medonte involves
approximately 250-300 athletes and
length of distance causes less
congestion. All corners are
monitored by the opp and volunteers
with the hours for this portion of
route being about 4 hours (10:00 -
2: 00 p.m.). Tri Sport provided
liability insurance for the Township
and will submit copy of same within
next few weeks. Proceeds from the
event go towards Crimestoppers.
e

parents as the owners of 5 parcels
of land on Pt. Lts. 18 & 19, Conc. 1
