Call to Order - Moment of Reflection: Mayor H.S. Hughes assumed the chair and called the meeting to order followed by a moment of reflection. Motion No. C201112-1 Moved by Hough, Seconded by Veitch Be it resolved that the agenda for the Council meeting of Thursday, November 12, 2020 be received and adopted, as amended, to withdraw Item 4d; And that Procedural By -Law No. 2017-165, Section 14.8 g) Deputations/Presentations be waived to permit more than the allowed three (3) deputation/presentation limit. Carried. Motion No. C201112-2 Moved by Keane, Seconded by Greenlaw Be it resolved that Rule 14.19a) as per the consolidated Procedural By-law No. 2017-165 be suspended in order to allow the meeting to proceed past the 4 hour adjournment requirement, if necessary. Mayor H.S. Hughes called the hearing to order and explained the public meeting is being held in accordance with the provisions of the Planning Act to obtain public comments with respect to the proposed Application by proposed application by Michael and Kelly Foley. The following correspondence was received: Township of Oro-Medonte, Building Division dated October 22, 2020; Township of Oro-Medonte, Manager, Development Engineering dated October 22, 2020; Simcoe Muskoka Catholic District School Board dated October 22, 2020; Michael Foley dated November 9, 2020. Andria Leigh, Director, Development Services, explained the purpose and effect of the proposed amendment. A PowerPoint presentation was presented. The applicant was not present. Staff commented that no additional public registrations were received. Staff confirmed that no additional correspondence from the public was received during this meeting. There being no further comments or questions, the meeting adjourned. That Minor Variance Application 2020-A-55 by Robert and Sarah Coppard specifically for permission to build an addition to the existing non -conforming single detached dwelling with a reduced setback to a water course (14.0m) and reduced setback from the Environmental Protection zone (3.0m) on the lands municipally known as 664 Line 2 North, Township of Oro-Medonte, be approved, subject to the conditions as outlined in DS2020-152. 3.
